Travel

The Faroe Islands, an archipelago nestled between Iceland and Norway, offer a raw and breathtaking beauty unlike anywhere else. Dramatic cliffs plunging into the churning Atlantic, verdant valleys dotted with colorful villages, and a sense of solitude that soothes the soul – these are the hallmarks of this unique destination.

Getting here

By Air: The most common way to reach the Faroe Islands is by air. Atlantic Airways, the national carrier, offers direct flights from several European cities, including Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Oslo, Edinburgh, and Paris.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) also operates flights to the islands as well as Iceland Air and Widerø.

By Sea: The Smyril Line ferry, Norröna, sails between the Faroe Islands and Iceland and Denmark.

Check the Smyril Line website for updated information, as schedules and routes can change.
