Emma Bahne Madsen Interning at ÍSF
04.09.2024
On Monday, September 2nd, Emma Bahne Madsen began her internship at ÍSF (Faroese Confederation of Sports) as part of her Sports Management studies at UCN in Aalborg. The Island Games will also benefit from Emma's internship
Emma's tasks will primarily involve assisting with the planning of a Faroese sports week. Additionally, Emma will work on the 2027 Island Games, particularly the preparatory phase for volunteers.
She decided to intern in the Faroe Islands because there is so much happening in sports here – and it's exciting to gain insight into this development. She also wants to experience the fantastic nature and culture here.
The Sports Management program is structured as a postgraduate course, requiring a total of 3.5 years of study. Emma previously earned a bachelor's degree in Media Production and Management from the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Emma will be interning until Christmas, when she will write her final project, and she will complete her studies at the end of January.
We welcome Emma to her internship at ÍSF and look forward to a good collaboration.
