Saaremaa
Saaremaa is the largest and most populous island in Estonia, located in the Baltic Sea, just south of Hiiumaa. The island is part of Saare County, and the capital is Kuressaare.
Saaremaa is situated in the heart of the Baltic region, a rapidly growing market area. The island is becoming an increasingly popular travel destination, particularly among domestic tourists.
It is well connected with a modern ferry service, port, and airport.
The vast majority of the island’s population is ethnically Estonian (97%), and the native language is Estonian. The two largest ethnic minorities – Russians and Finns – together make up less than 3% of the population.
