Solby A. Christiansdóttir
Games Director
+298 220120 solby@faroeislands2027.foSolby Anna Christiansdóttir is a trained journalist and holds a BA in Faroese and Literature. She has worked for many years at Kringvarp Føroya (the Faroese Broadcasting Corporation, KVF), where she was also part of the management team for a period.
Solby has been active in sport since her youth and has, among other things, helped organise KI Klaksvik football club’s participation in UEFA competitions.
She has long had a strong interest in the Island Games, both personally and professionally.
Her knowledge of event organisation is extensive, and she has gained particular insight into the Games through her role as host for KVF’s television and radio coverage at five previous Island Games.

Poula Michelsen
Sports Director

As Sports Manager, Poula is responsible for all sporting activities at the Betri Island Games, as well as overseeing the volunteer programme and all marketing efforts.
Poula has extensive experience in both the financial sector and the private business sector, where she has worked with marketing, management, and coordination since 2006.
She has been actively involved in a wide range of sports, both as an athlete, coach, and organiser.













Helena Eyðsteinsdóttir Jakobsen
Accommodation and catering

Helena Eyðsteinsdóttir Jakobsen is the sales manager of Enjoy and is in charge of all the accommodation and catering.

Rannvá Poulsen
Transport & travel

Rannvá Poulsen is the transport manager and is in charge of all the transportation during the Games and available to advise on travel to and from the Faroe Islands.
