Solby A. Christiansdóttir

+298 220120 solby@faroeislands27.foSolby Anna Christiansdóttir is a trained journalist and holds a BA in Faroese and Literature. She has worked for many years at Kringvarp Føroya (the Faroese Broadcasting Corporation, KVF), where she was also part of the management team for a period.
Solby has been active in sport since her youth and has, among other things, helped organise KI Klaksvik football club’s participation in UEFA competitions.
She has long had a strong interest in the Island Games, both personally and professionally.
Her knowledge of event organisation is extensive, and she has gained particular insight into the Games through her role as host for KVF’s television and radio coverage at five previous Island Games.
